• I’m 42
• I have a daugher (Babygirl) age 12
• I have a son (Imp) age 13
• I’m divorced and I get along with my kids’ dad
• I’m remarried to the love of my life
• I have three stepkids who are grown and no longer live at home
• I work from home as a contract transcriptionist
• I love it, but sometimes I feel isolated and lonely
• I have only two close girlfriends who live in my town because I am very picky about my friends
• My sister is my best friend and I wish we lived closer
• I have met most of my very best friends online through diaries, journals, blogs, and listservs
• I love Facebook
• I recently found out a good college friend of mine died nearly 20 years ago.  It is odd to freshly mourn someone who has been gone so long.  Phil Polo, you are missed.
• I have been writing online since 2000 and started on good ol’ Diaryland under Human Capital and then Go Figure.  I then had my own domains, The Family Blender, and more recently, Just My Type.  Neither felt right, but this one does.
• I absolutely adore my husband.
• I have a dog and two cats.
• My older cat suddenly became blind this summer, but he is otherwise fine.  We just don’t rearrange the furniture.
• I recently went through our budget and eliminated over $380 in excess spending we will never even miss.
• I used to absolutely love writing online but now I just type… It’s not art for me anymore and that makes me kind of sad.
• I can no longer keep my eyes open and I am going to bed.
